A solution for detecting the congestion in networks

Congestion in networks is one of the main factors adversely affect the quality of communication among networks, detecting congestion is the prerequisite to solve it. In this paper, a type of software sensor which has been designed and implemented can detect the levels of congestion, monitor the current network conditions. Meanwhile, it´s very flexible because the key algorithm can be transplanted in a bid to provide a basis for wide application. Finally, simulation results support the conclusion that the software sensor has precise detection performance and future prospects.
