Abstract :
Interferometer fringe centerline detection is the key technology for modern optical measurement. For traditional algorithms, image filtering, image enhancing, image binarization, and other pretreatment methods are needed when extracting fringe centerline. And this lead to inadequate accuracy, slower speed and other problems. To solve these problems, a LSCFGPI(the least-squares cosine fitting grayscale projection integral data) interference fringe centerline extracted method is proposed in this paper. The method does the projection to the interferometer fringe pattern along the direction of 0 ~ 7ΐ to get the grayscale projection integral GPI matrix, and get the variance for each projection data acquired, then fit the maximum variance group data through the least squares cosine method, finally determine the centerline position by the extremum calculated by the fitting function. As the experimental results shows, this method has the characteristics of little impacted by noise and processing fast, and can meet the requirements of real-time processing.
