Abstract
For the solution of orientation and stabilization problems of dynamically complicated spacecraft with random external interference, a model-based control method is described. The main idea of the method is that at a given time interval the coordinates of “sample” motion (the flexibility is absent) and the oscillations of flexible and mobile elements of the construction are defined separately. On that basis the results of motion analysis allow one to identify the random interference and oscillations with subsequent changes of structure and parameters of the algorithm and to provide precision orientation, stabilization and manoeuvring. This method with elements of identification and adaptation allows one to reach a much higher accuracy then the widely used Kalman filter method. The algorithm has high stability towards considerable deviations of model´s parameters from the nominal values
