Abstract :
Chalcogenide waveguide Raman laser are investigated as a promising alternative for silicon Raman laser. Ten times conversion efficiency enhancement and 33% threshold reduction are simultaneously achieved. Waveguide miniaturization is founded to enhance laser performance.
