  • Abstract
    The effect of vector control for Induction Motor (IM) largely depends on whether the motor parameters are accurate. However, the motor resistance parameters are varying as the temperature is changing. In the vector control system, the motor resistance parameters need to be online identified and the control model parameters should be online modified. Based on the relationship between the motor winding resistance and the temperature, this paper presents a method to calculate the dynamic winding resistance by online detecting the winding temperature. The experiment results show that not only is this method correct, it also has great identification accuracy. This identification method has a wide application prospect, for it is simple, less calculation and easy realization.
