Abstract :
The SG-II upgrade laser facility includes a Petawatt beamline for fundamental physics and advanced applications, which requires large pulse compression gratings. Since it is exhausted to fabricate large size diffraction grating which can meet the stringent requirements of the PW beamline, an elliptical beam is employed firstly for maximum energy while using pulse compression gratings with a size of 380mm×430mm. The experimental demonstration of PW beamline for amplification and pulse compression has been implemented.
