Abstract :
Abstract-A climbing mechanism for applying in vertical pipelines is presented in the paper. The mechanism can move in the pipeline by a suspending cable and can be positioned and fixed by a set of parallel linkage structure. A prototyping method is proposed for the mechanism system based on co-simulation of SolidWorks and MSC.ADAMS. A complex mathematical modeling process is avoided by this method, and the dynamic simulating and analysis would be exerted adequately.
