Abstract :
The number of femto-cell users will increase dramatically in the future, but the unbalanced load distribution in femto-cell environment is unavoidable because users would move around. User Equipments (UE) located in the overlapped coverage area of two neighbor femto-cells can make one femto-cell overloaded while the other is not. In this situation, an overloaded femto-cell introduces network congestion to its serving UEs and blocks new connections. Instead of considering only bandwidth usage in femto-cells, we propose a method that also consider users´ movements between femto-cells, and the performance evaluation which successfully show the call probability as well as the data rate that can be improved by the propose method.
