A Research on Supplier Assessment Indices System of Green Purchasing

With the worse environment for human survival and the limited resource, enterprises are forced to improve their environmental management to enhance their competitiveness. The level of purchasing management can affect not only enterprises´ economic performance, but environmental performance. This study developed a questionnaire on the basis of the literatures at present and did a survey among Chinese manufacture enterprises. Through factor analysis by SPSS, the main factors for green suppliers´ assessment are identified. Analysis on data results are followed by conclusion based on the theory of innovation diffusion. The limitations in this study are also pointed in the end.
