Abstract :
The input impedance of a quarter-wavelength monopole at different locations on a circular disk was measured by physical experiment. The results were compared to data where it is available in the literature. The coupling between two monopoles along the radius of a circular disk is presented. These measurements provide reference data for numerical computations and allow better designs for monopole-on- circular groundplane.
