Abstract :
Erosion of beach land and villages will be resulted from instability of Yellow River beach strand, even embankment will be burst, so it has important practice to analyze stability of Yellow River beach strand and its sensibility to influencing factors. The main factors that much influence the stability of beach strand are selected as cohesion C, water head H and slope angle α, and the different analysis work condition is constructed with different combination of C, H and α, and the analysis method of slope is adopted, and the stability of beach strand is calculated, based on which, the sensitivity of the beach strand stability to C, H and α is researched, so to provide a theoretical basis for design and control measures of Yellow River beach strand.
