Abstract :
Structure stability of a multiwall carbon nanotube - polystyrene nanocomposite was investigated in two operational modes. Statistical analysis of the emission parameters of the whiskers formed on the anode surface during field emission was carried out. The histograms of the statistical distribution of effective heights at different current levels were plotted. Mass-spectrometry data in alternating electrical fields show the presence of C2H2, H2 and CO in spectra.
