Abstract

Temporal information processing in education field is an important and challenging issue in database application systems. After the shortages of current temporal data management are analyzed in detail, this paper introduces TDBEngine:a middleware approach to implement temporal information processing. We introduce the characters of TDBEnginepsilas query Language-ATSQL2 and characters of TDBEnginepsilas architecture and then give the application model for using TDBEngine; Finally, We illustrate the application method in temporal educational information process using TDBEngine.
