Abstract :
We experimentally demonstrate the generation and distribution of UWB doublet pulses through use of a semiconductor electroabsorption modulator. Error-free distribution of the generated UWB doublet pulses over a fiber/wireless link is successfully achieved at 1.25 Gbit/s.
