Abstract :
At present, the active contour model is widely used in image segmentation. Because there are many problems in hand-wrist X-ray image such as the low contrast, unevenly lighting, by the edge of bone and muscle and soft tissue and so on, the edge of irregular shape, traditional edge detection method is difficult to obtain the accurate edge of the bone, the paper provides an improved outline of the activities of the division of law. Active contour model is used to detect the edge of the bone, and improved access to the desired results.
