            Abstract : 
This paper demonstrates the use of the left-handed properties imposed by split ring resonators (SRRs) in order to achieve miniaturization of rectangular waveguide filters. Analysis and design of the SRR-loaded bandpass filters are presented. Simulated results demonstrate feasibility of the proposed structures.
