Abstract :
Based on studying the performance of orthogonal space-time block codes over Rayleigh fading channels, a general expression of instant output signal-to-noise for orthogonal space-time block code over fading channel at the receiver is shown. The error probability of space-time block code is analyzed and the minimum distance sphere bound of the symbol error rate is derived for PSK/PAM/QAM modulation over Nakagami fading environment. Simulations demonstrate that the good performance of space-time block code by using multiple transmit antennas and receive antennas, the "floor effect" of the transmit-antenna number and the symbol error rate influenced by Nakagami average fading power Omega and fading parameter m over Nakagami fading channels
