Abstract :
This paper presents an analysis of a medium size reverberation chamber to be used for handset antenna efficiency measurements. The assessment is done by sampling the power received by a linearly polarized antenna at 14 locations in the working volume over one stirrer rotation. The general goal is to achieve a good correlation with anechoic chambers. Power uniformity and isotropy over the working volume are two of the main factors that affect this correlation. This paper addresses these issues with a simple structure of one stirrer and minimal loading.
