Abstract :
In this paper, the mixing operation rather then quadratic detection one is proposed. The dynamic range of microwave mixer can reach 80 dB and more. The mixing of input microwave signal with constant amplitude heterodyne one results in conversion of signals with high linearity. So, the advantages of using of microwave mixer rather detector are evident.
