Abstract
This paper deals with a simple computational agent of the active human interface which is basically related to a Darwinian model of thinking proposed by W. James (1874). The message transfer modality is limited, for simplicity in this paper, to only facial expression. The facial feature of the robot partner is assumed to be specified by the strength of action units involved in the facial expression at the instance in question
