Abstract :
A simple and efficient model for the transient simulation of continuous-time filters described by linear S-domain transfer-functions is presented. This model uses a state-variable approach to represent the filter´s time-domain behavior. It is contrasted with an alternative scheme based on convolution. The model has been incorporated into a fast circuit simulator and is illustrated by example
