  • Abstract
In the next generation of home information system, a powerful computer system with a home network will be widely introduced. To assist the every generation of peoples in such a home information system, the friendly and intelligent man-machine communication system should be introduced. In this article, the conceptual configurations of the next generation home information system are introduced. Researches about some of the important components in the system are explained. Finally, the robotic terminal which employs the control system using schema theory, is described. The schema is a small control program which performs a simple limited task. A group of these schemes is able to execute the desired job. The multi-schema control structure enables the system to be gradually developed and to maintain the system safety when some elements of the system have failed
