Abstract :
In this paper an overview of the activities concerning microwave radiometry of land, vegetation and water bodies carried out for more than 30 years by Anatolij Shutko and his research group is given. In particular, the experiments carried out for validating the electromagnetic models, the results achieved during these years and the practical applications derived from this research are here described.
