  • Abstract
    This paper proposes a new topology for the soft-switching boost PFC converter. The proposed converter comprises of a transformer, a snubber capacitor, a snubber inductors, three diodes. The primary coil of the transformer is connected to the input side of the converter and functions as the main inductor, and the secondary winding to the snubber circuit. Integrity of the proposed converter is validated using both theoretical analysis and PSIM simulation.
