Abstract
This paper presents a method for introducing random twisting non-uniformities into the field-coupling model. Based on a comparison between predicted and measured data, it has been concluded that introducing twisting non-uniformities produces a more representative physical model that can be used in the statistical analysis of TWPs. Note that such analysis could include, among other things, the introduction of interference sources with random properties.
