Abstract :
Presented paper is devoted to application of selected thresholding algorithms and it compares obtained results. Studied methods were verified on a set of microscopic images of aluminum alloy. The goal of this project is satisfying image segmentation as a part of a preprocessing algorithm. This procedure is necessary for the following images processing based on application of Hough Transform.
