  • Abstract
The limited bandwidth and frequently changing topology of ad hoc network require that its protocol should be robust, simple and energy conserving. In this paper, we propose an enhanced ODMRP called CODMRP. CODMRP adopts the dynamic counter threshold according to the estimated distance calculated by received signal strength to reduce waste of wireless bandwidth created by the invalid redundant relay in ODMRP. By simulation results, it can be seen that CODMRP reduces the average data delivery latency while increases the data delivery efficiency as well as maintaining the same high data delivery ratio as ODMRP
