Welcome message from the general chair

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 6^th Annual IEEE Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE) in the beautiful city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The IEEE CASE is sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Robotics and Automation Society (RAS). It is the flagship automation conference of the IEEE RAS and it constitutes the primary forum for cross-industry, multidisciplinary research in automation. The IEEE CASE was established in 2005 to provide a venue for broad coverage and dissemination of foundational research in automation.
