Abstract :
This paper proposes a new topology with active switched-capacitor and switched-inductor impedance network, which can provide the high boost ability with small shoot-through time. The proposed inverter uses an active switched capacitor and switched-inductor impedance network in order to couple the main circuit and input dc source for boosting the output voltage. The proposed inverter inherits all advantages of the classical Z-source inverter (ZSI), and has the stronger voltage boost inversion ability compared with the ZSI. Thus, the output voltage quality is significantly improved. The proposed inverter is analyzed, and its performances are compared with those of the classical ZSI. Both simulation and experimental results are carried out to verify the performances of the proposed inverter.
