Abstract :
In this letter, a double L-slot folded shorted patch antenna is presented. By digging two L-shaped slots on the folded shorted patch antenna and placing a shorting pin at a strategic position, very wide impedance bandwidth of 98.8% is obtained. The maximum gain of this antenna is 7.2dBi. Indeed, the proposed antenna has the widest impedance bandwidth among the reference antennas. Therefore, this antenna is suitable for the indoor wireless communication systems.
