Abstract :
The Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) is planned to run 1000s of plasma discharges in the near future. A study has been launched to identify the limitation of the present acquisition system with respect to long pulse operation. A completely new embedded data acquisition system and its software drivers are being developed in order to realize the continuous data acquisition and data real time transmission during a long-time discharge. The new device offers a real-time, flexible, multi-channels, medium and high-speed simultaneous signal acquisition, and programmable gain amplifiers are integrated into it. This paper will describe the new DAQ device in detail.
