Abstract :
The piezocomposites possess better acoustic matching with human tissue. These are broad-band devices which provide axial resolution and can be made to operate at high frequencies. The present paper reports the fabrication technique adopted by the authors along with important results for 0-3 and 1-3 type piezocomposite transducer elements
