Abstract :
In this work, extensive numerical studies are performed for a typical patch antenna over RIS, including the considerations on the normally expected variations on dielectric constants for commercially available dielectric materials, and the variations on the thickness of the substrate layer. The results should provide useful guidelines for practical design on this kind of structure when real dielectric materials are involved.
