Abstract :
We present the prototype of a biosensor that exploits surface plasmon resonances of gold nanostructures integrated in a microfluidic environment to track HSP70 proteins in the peripheral blood. The project objectives, the setup and results of the first experiments measuring the plasmon resonance shift of nanodimers when exposed to solutions of different refractive indices are presented.
