Abstract :
In this paper, we employ chaotic predictive technique to predict the self-similar traffic. Our novel method combines the algorithm of embedding window with the conception of independently determining embedding parameters. The algorithm we adopt for computing Lyapunov exponent has high computational efficiency. It can be implemented for on-line prediction, and applied in the resource management of wireless networks
