Abstract :
This paper develops a blind equalization method using the zero-forcing algorithm for multiple FIR channels. The FIR channel can be identified from the second order statistics of the received signal. A zero-forcing equalizer can be constructed from the estimated channel response. To enhance the robustness of the equalizer, the zero-forcing equalizer is formulated to minimize the H∞ norm of the reconstruction error due to additive white noise
