Abstract
In present network, bandwidth is valuable resource that limits the enlargement and speed up of communication. Hardware price drops as nearly line speed while long distance transmit price stays stable for years. This trend directs the future network to exchange computation and storage with bandwidth. Service-Oriented Future Internet Architecture proposes to add computation and storage ability to service nodes and pushes service to the place near clients in order to save bandwidth. However, storage resource is not limitless and needs proper allocation. In this paper, a storage space adjust algorithm is proposed to find a better distribution plan of storage space on different service nodes so that limited resource is utilized thoroughly. Simulation and comparison results demonstrate that storage usage ratio is improved greatly with the adjusted storage distribution. Service response time is reduced and quality of service is optimized.
