Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a framework for the ISDB T software receivers. It provides the environment for evaluating various algorithms in order to improve the receiver performance. In order to demonstrate the feasibility of our framework, we implement a software receiver for the partial reception of the one segment, which is dedicated for the low quality video broadcasting. In this implementation, we uses the GNU Radio USRP2 for the RF front-end and A/D converter. The other modules are implemented on software. The implementation result shows that the receiver can decode the signal and play the one segment video in real-time if it is executed on the computer equipped with Intel Core i7 975 @ 3.3 GHz.
