Abstract
Addresses the problem of stabilizing a class of imperfectly known nonlinear time-delay systems of the neutral type; that is the time-delays occur in the state velocity vector. The imperfections are modelled as nonlinear perturbations influencing a known nominal time-delay system and may be time, state, delayed-state and/or input-dependent. Adopting a deterministic methodology based on Lyapunov stabilization theory and Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, a delay independent stability criterion is proposed that is sufficient to ensure global uniform asymptotic stability for the prescribed class of time-delay systems
