Abstract :
Taiwan Power Company (TPC) has implemented an event-based system integrity protection system (SIPS) to increase power system reliability against extreme contingencies. The decision making mechanism of the event-based SIPS is based on look-up tables. In this study, automation techniques are being developed to increase the analysis efficiency for speeding up preparing a look-up table.
