Abstract :
We report emission data from 1/spl times/100 and 2/spl times/100 arrays showing focusing. Emission patterns on screen were expected to be approximately circular. However, we consistently observed elongated emission patterns and football shaped images. One explanation is a focusing mechanism associated with the layout of the emitters. This assumption is verified by EGUN2 simulation.<>
