Abstract :
In this paper, a dual-band CPW-fed hybrid bow-tie/slot loop antenna and its miniaturized design are presented. The antennas both consist of a bow-tie slot and a rectangular slot loop added to its outer ends. The lower and upper resonant frequencies fL and fC can be independently determined by varying the total circumference of the slot loop and the length of the bow tie slot. Details of the antenna design are discussed. Simulation and measurement results are also presented.
