Abstract :
A novel enhanced meshed ground structure which has the same shape of the transmission line on the conventional meshed ground plane is proposed. This simple process can dramatically improve the characteristic of transmission with maintaining the flexibility of the conventional FPC. Additional merit of this approach is to be able to make the FPC cable more flexible and to reduce the amount of copper usage with maintaining the transmission performance similarly.
