Abstract :
Many small communication devices are being built and developed with integrated antennas. Significant factors in their effectiveness are the size and efficiency of their antennas. This paper investigates the bandwidth of a folded capacitive cylindrical helix antenna as a function of added normalized volume placed around a conductive body or a conductive electronic package.
