  • Abstract
    The ultra high voltage (UHV) direct current (DC) transmission developments in China are simply introduced in this paper. The demand of UHV DC transmission and development plan in China are simply discussed. The design parameters and construction of UHV DC test bases, including test facilities, the tests that can be carried out; UHV DC test and demonstration lines; design and manufacture of UHV DC equipment are also introduced in this paper.
