Abstract :
The MOBILE is a logic gate that exploits the monostable-bistable transition of a circuit consisting of two resonant tunneling transistors connected in series. This paper describes application of MOBILEs to flexible and reduced-complexity logic circuits, such as variable function logic gates and simple 1-dimensional cellular automata that can be used in a random sequence generator. These circuits demonstrate the usefulness of MOBILE´s functions.<>
