Abstract :
Summary Form only given, as follows. The authors measured and calculated voltage-current (V-I) characteristics. The results indicate that V-I characteristics show hysteresis loops. Discrepancies between the calculated and measured results are attributed to the following factors: (1) the wall radius was not constant, (2) the axial flow velocity was not exact, (3) the radiation losses were neglected, and (4) the effect of turbulence was not taken into account.<>
