Abstract
It´s often desirable using antenna arrays to suppress strong interferential clusters and other multi-path signals in wireless communication system. However, ecumenical null forming methods are not good capable of broad nulls with satisfactory nulls depth and acceptable side lobe level in the directions of strong interference signals. In this paper, a novel null forming algorithm is proposed. It effectively improves the performance of antenna pattern through an artful transformation of array steering vectors and signal correlation matrix respectively, which are the two main composing parts of the conventional array weights. Moreover, this algorithm is easy, robust and simple processing. Computer simulation results are presented for illustration.
