Abstract :
Flowers are complex structures and always change their shape with the environment, such as sun, water and neighbors. However, some mathematic rules can be found in the growth which one of them is the phyllotactics pattern. It exists in flower system and often arranges the flower petals in spiral patterns. In this paper the flowers modeling are generated by using the corresponding phyllotactics pattern character with the results being more natural. Furthermore, the modeling process is decomposed two parts: the petal, leaf and stem creating with the geometry editor and the flowers overall silhouette shape generating with the structure editor. The user can change the parameters and recursion times by the interactive interface. The manipulation is simply.
