Abstract :
Low impact renewable energy technologies offer important benefits compared to conventional energy sources, such as fossil fuels or nuclear power. Renewable-energy resources are abundant; worldwide, and are unevenly distributed. They are capable of producing around one-thousand-times more energy than is released today by all fossil fuels consumed. However due to their uncertainty different kinds of renewable-energy resources need to be operated in integrated way those complement each other. Further they provide energy security without in every nation without dependence on foreign energy sources and negative impact on human health and environment. Taking a closer look, it is clear that fostering the use of renewable energy sources and their integrated operation is a key issue in order to achieve the long-run objectives of energy. In this regard this paper looks to identify and discuss some potential policy instruments and important parameters for increasing the generation of electricity from LIRE through integrated operation.
